Where did 2009 go?

Gosh I am going to have to write something in 2010. Can't believe a whole year has gone by since i posted anything. Alot has happened this past year. I don't think I could possibly catchup at this point but would like to write about our trip to Italy soon. It's going to be a great Christmas with 2 grandbabies now! Mr. Riley has gotten to be alot of fun now. Mckenzee is as full of energy as ever. Wow, they can wear me out in about an hour. Don't know how their Momma does it all day! Going to have to download all my SD pic cards to the computer before posting anything. Our computer crashed in Sept. and we lost everything. I finally tried Facebook this fall but didn't care for it. I guess I really don't have time to read about what everyone else in town is doing on a daily basis. Pat just had surgery and is slowly recooperating. We actually went to see a movie on it's opening day today: Avatar. It was really intense throughout the whole thing. It had some pretty amazing effects. We enjoyed it but Pat was tired by the time we got back home. Okay that's all for today.

Looking Forward to 2009!

Hello Everyone!
Hope all of you are doing well and looking forward to a great year. I am looking forward to holding my grandson soon. Only 9 days to go! I hope Mckenzee won't mind too much, she's
pretty possessive of her special people.
I have just finished the first week of Tarrant Country Master Gardener school. I am so excited to be going. It is sponsored by Texas AgriLife Extension thru Texas A&M. It is held from 9-4 every Tuesday and Thursday until the middle of March. After that, at least 72 hours of volunteer service and a classic project (designing a garden and implimenting at least a portion of the design). There are 36 interns in the class and we have a great teacher; Steve Chaney and alot of wonderful advisors. This Tuesday we are going on a field trip to the Botanical Research Institute of Texas in the morning and the the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens in the afternoon.
